Write down two shopping lists.
Now, these aren't typical shopping lists - these are lists that are in your customers mind and your own mind.
The first is a list of all the ways you could be on someone else's shopping list. Whether it's a big company or a single customer - how can you get in a position where you are on their lists and be in the their decision making process? Getting clear about this - will help you actually get on lists.
The second list is an even more important. Instead of just trying to get on someone else's list - who is on yours? What organizations, people and causes do you aspire to work for? This is what will motivate you to move forward.
Write both these lists then all you have to do is reverse engineer what it will take to get there.
