What does this marketing idea remind me of? Now when it does remind me of something - what is that thought? Is it hard for me to grasp and process? Because if it takes to much energy I will leave.
Memory and cognitive energy work together in marketing. As a human I will always make snap recalls and associations of the things and thoughts I come in contact with - but I don't have infinite energy. I can't process every thought I have deeply. So my brain - just as soon as it remembers something asks: will this take to much energy to think about? If the pain threshold is to ohigh - I will avoid thinking about the thought all together.
Sometimes its helpful to think of naming and brand recall in terms of energy.
