Is it Art or Vandalism?

Advertising is like vandalism. It interrupts you.

It's loud.

It's in your face.

It's unwelcomed.

Advertising is vandalism when it steals from our attention - we leave the advertisement feeling like something was taken from us. We feel unsettled and a little bit betrayed.

A great advertisement one that is not like vandalism but is more like a timeless piece of art.

It's relevant.

It lifts our spirits.

It's remembered.

The customer leaves smarter. They leave with something that they can now use to connect with other people around them. They leave with a positive net change to their state. That's great advertising.
