It's not a hard rule but a strong signal that if you have to say what type of business you are in - you ain't made it yet because you ain't it.

The strongest brands are remembered for what they stand for and what value they created over time.

That the strongest brand names speak for themselves.

Nike doesn't have to say they are in the shoe business because they are shoes.

That is something that is earned overtime.
