From Copying to Stealing

They sound the same but they're different.

Copying is lazy. Its replicating people to save time. It's not about thinking - its about not thinking.

Stealing on the other hand is a labour of work. It's an act of observing - seeing all of the pieces and how they relate with each other and pulling from that to create something.

Not to create a carbon copy but something with your own style to it - because you designed it.

Mediocre marketers copy - great marketers steal.
