We must remember to have aspirations as marketers.
We are a rare breed of creatives because we are ones that embrace capitalism the most, however it can lead to our downfall.
Capitalism can help feed creativity or at the very least compistate the efforts but it has its side effects.
It can cause us to be short term pleasers - instead of long term visonarys.
So I say, have some aspirations for your ads. Instead of trying to make something for the quarter - make something for the people.
Instead of making just another ad - make a piece of art - a gift to the consumer. Something that has the energy to be admired by all creatives and consumers.
Aspire to create something that is on a higher plane than just "advertising".
